Mr. Kenneth Andrew Goins

Kenneth was compassionate, funny, bold, and loving--and above all, a faithful and obedient follower of Jesus Christ. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Heaven gained an incredible man, but the weight of his loss on this side of eternity is heavy and deeply felt. Kenneth's purpose in life was to give God glory until his very last breath, and he fulfilled that calling. Without a doubt, he heard the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant, " from his Savior. Kenneth was born on June 29,1965, to Kenneth and Linda Goins. Though he faced many hardships in life, his greatest accomplishment and deepest joy came when he gave his life to Jesus and received the Holy Ghost. He loved his wife, Stormy (Konda), with a Christ-like love, just as a godly husband is called to do, and he showed that love in both big and small ways every day. He cherished his church and his church family, and he loved to testify--again and again--about the goodness of God and all He had brought him through. Brother Kenneth, don't you worry-- we will keep shouting and praising God in the church, and we'll bring our hammers to nail the shingles back on the roof. Kenneth loved others as he followed Christ's example. He was a friend to everyone and a stranger to no one. Even in difficult times, he carried a smile that reflected the joy within his heart. As his family and friends walk through this season of grief, it is not without hope and joy. They are deeply grateful for their church family and friends who have surrounded them with prayer, support, encouragement, and love. May Kenneth's legacy as a faithful and obedient follower of Christ lives on through all who knew and loved him. Though he will be dearly missed, it brings comfort to know that he is completely healed--rejoicing, singing, and worshiping before the throne alongside the saints and angels in heaven. Daughter, Tabetha West, Son, Kenneth Lee Goins and Brothers Matthew Goins, Alex Goins, Shane Goins. Preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Andrew Goins, Mother Linda Graves Goins, and Brother Anthony Goins.
